Louis Marx and Company began making tin toys such as making tinplate buildings, toy soldier's, toy dinosaurs, mechanical toys, toy guns, action figures, dolls, doll houses, toy cars, and HO scale and O scale toy trains in the early 1900's. Louis Marx was known as "The Toy King" by 1950's and they were the largest toy maker in the world. Collecting Marx toys has grown steadily in popularity for the last 20yrs.
Besides the standard tin toys made by Marx there is a huge demand for there windup toys. The space race of the 60's brought on a huge surge of space related toys made by Marx including various space ships, rockets and robots. All of these 1960's toys made by Marx are unique collectibles in their own right.
